I am always amazed by the strength of the human spirit; the ability that I believe each one of us possesses to rise above life's most demanding challenges, to harness our innate strengths, to align our actions each day with the core values we all hold dear and to live the lives each of us truly deserves.
In my years working with children and adolescents, I've seen young men and women improve their academic performance and cultivate healthy social relationships. In the time I've spent helping young adults navigate the difficult path through high school and onto college, I've seen them improve their focus and maintain a healthy balance between work and school.
Working with men and women coming into recovery - from substance use, dealing with anxiety, burdened by past traumatic experiences, or fighting depression - I've seen healing arise from the most damaged relationships, hope emerge out of the most desperate circumstances and peace overcome fear.
I've dedicated my life to helping others become the best version of themselves. I've also spent years as an instructor at both the University of Miami and Florida International University, teaching mental health and addiction classes, as a prevention expert in local schools and as a frequent lecturer on topics related to addiction and mental wellness, I've sought to eliminate the stigma that keeps so many people from seeking the help they often desperately need.
If you or someone you love might be ready to take the next step into a more peaceful and fulfilling life, I would love to connect with you and take that journey together.
